The national strategy for dengue control programme will guide the country to formulate and implement effective strategies and actions at the national and local government level to control dengue and reduce the epidemiological, economic and social burden of the disease.
The development of the NSP-DCP will include, but not limited to, processes outlined in Figure 1. In summary, the process will consist of preparation, implementation and final phases. Involvement of key stakeholders of DCP from within the MOH, other key government sectors at national and sub-national level, implementing partners, NGOs and experts from various institutions will be crucial in the processes.
